There is so much beauty around us, if only we take the time to notice. Photographs, as with some other medias, is a way to capture this beauty and highlight its significance in our place and time.  It is also a way to acknowledge its purity and emphasize on aesthetic realism.  The images represent exactly how it is perceived and meaning is simply a subjective affixation.  However, every photo has a story to tell, whether about the conditions that preceded it, proceeded it or both - if only we have enough time to talk about it.  

 

Patterns, colors, forms, and textures are everywhere.  Perhaps, if we are able to understand the patterns found in nature, we may be able to find solutions to the many unresolved problems, whether personal or societal.  Beauty is found in the extremes as well as the variables that come in between passion and logic, freedom and structure, and strength and grace.

 

Human emotions and activities are just as interesting to observe and study as it is to capture on camera .... for aren’t we all just trying to understand the world and finding ways to express this understanding?
